![]() Not enough real-time to make expiring licenses count. I played for a couple of weeks and just stopped completely because of this very issue. I am such a player with limited time to play and recently I started a new character on Xbox when the game came to Xbox. The licenses makes it near impossible to play the game for someone who have say only 90 minutes per day to play. If you constantly have to rebuy the license without enough real-time to make it count you still end up loosing money no matter how long your trip is as you constantly have license expenses without enough real-time to make up for it. Makes it extremely difficult for players with little real time per day to play. That's not the issue, the issue is the license that expires. So take plenty of bait, rods, hooks, line et cetra. Originally posted by gazza:you need to plan your trips carefully, don't stay at a lake/river for 1 day and leave. This is just a suggestion, hope it helps. feeder fishing)), also take note of the lure weight (spinning & casting rods) or casting weight (feeder, bottom, carp and spod rods), if you get a message saying the setup is too heavy do not use as something might break (normally the rod). ![]() When setting up an outfit try to make sure it's balanced : Rod (strongest) (line weight) => Reel (max drag) => Line (test) => Leader (weakest) (test) if a leader is required i.e. If your line keeps breaking then your drag is set too high. Make sure you start with a low drag setting. Make sure you're fishing during peak times (check the weather forecast) for a better chance, I caught mine around lunchtime. Just need to figure out how to book a trip and not lose money now. After reading that, it made the uber worksheet posted above, now 10x more easier to read, 20x more useful. Try fishing with the house behind you and casting as near to the middle (of the pond) as you can. Might help you out: This topic on the wiki I found super beneficial, in regards to maximizing rod, reel line setup. Set the float depth to maximum and use a #2 hook, try using baits like dough, bread or semolina (corn is good but not available until level 34). You will need to use a Telescopic or Match rod (float setup), a level 19 EspiraMLR3000 reel and (level 19) Nero rod should be sufficient for the task (any of the Fenix match rods probably even better). ![]()
